People in show business are sometimes notorious for not keeping promises. The Oak Ridge boys kept a solemn promise to the late George H.W. Bush. They befriended our  41st president in the 1980's. The group performed "Amazing Grace" at his inauguration. The friendship thrived through the years.

"President Bush means so much to us. George Bush requested before he passed away that we sing 'Amazing Grace,' his favorite song, at his funeral.   - Richard Sterban

Southern Living reports, the quartet has been traveling with suits packed for the last several months, anticipating the call. They boarded a "red eye" flight after performing in Spokane, Washington to be at the funeral. Watch their performance here...
