National Prescription Drug Take – Back Day This Saturday, October 27

National Prescription Drug Take - Back Day is set for this Saturday at University hospitals and clinics.

You can dispose of prescription drugs at the University clinics on West Congress between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. This includes expired prescriptions, pills you didn’t finish, pills for relatives who have died, and others.

Local law enforcement officers will be on hand to help residents securely dispose of their medications. University Hospital and Clinic associates and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan employees will provide educational resources on prescription drug misuse prevention to participants.
