LSU To Face BYU In 2017 Texas Kickoff.

The LSU tigers will open their 2017 football season in Houston. They face the Cougars of BYU on September 2nd in the Texas Kickoff at NRG Stadium. The Tigers opened their 2014 campaign against Wisconsin at the same venue. They'll open their 2016 season against the Badgers at Green Bay's Lambeau field.The Advocate reports LSU's greatest concentration of alumni outside Louisiana is in the Houston area. The Tigers have reportedly agreed to open their 2018 season against the Miami Hurricanes at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.
