LSU cornerback Tharold Simon was arrested in Eunice Thursday night. His car was blocking Beulah Street when a police officer asked him to move it.

Simon reportedly told the officer, "I own Eunice," and "I'm gonna buy these projects and you are gonna be mine." The officer's report states when Simon moved his vehicle, he spun his wheels, "backed the vehicle in an aggressive manner" and cranked the radio up.  Simon reportedly told the officer that "the mayor was on [his] side" and writing a ticket would cost him his job. Simon faces charges of public intimidation, resisting an officer, and a noise violation. He has bonded out.
