Lafayette Parish Bus Drivers Will Have To Bid For Routes

The school bus routes for the 2017 - 2018 routes are up and bus drivers will have to bid for their routes this year.

This year, bus drivers will have to bid for their routes despite routes usually being assigned by seniority. Bidding will begin on July 26 at 8 a.m. Drivers will be allowed to bid based on seniority, with the twenty most senior drivers coming in at 8, followed by the next 20 most senior drivers each hour after.
