Jeepers Visit Louisiana Military Museum (Photos)

In honor of Veterans' Day, the Louisiana Jeepers organized a 'ride' to visit the Louisiana Military Museum at Abbeville's Chris Crusta Memorial Airport on Saturday. 

Joined by members of the Cajun Jeepers Crue, the ride departed Broussard at 10am, driving Highway 90 to Highway 88 and then following the back roads, around Lake Peigneur to Delcambre, then Highway 14 to Abbeville.  The Louisiana Jeepers collected monetary donations from each rider to give to the staff at the Louisiana Military Hall of Fame & Museum to help with the upkeep of the facility.

The Louisiana Military Museum and Hall of Fame is in its first 'phase', and features military vehicles, aircraft, armament/munitions, anti-aircraft guns, personal memorabilia and photos/videos of past conflicts/personal stories.

Located deep in the heart of Cajun Country, the Louisiana Military Hall of Fame in Abbeville is designed to honor Louisiana’s soldiers, sailors and airmen who went above and beyond the call of duty in their service to our country.

The Jeepers' completed their day with a trip to Cajun Harley Davidson for the Annual Gumbo Cookoff, and ended up taking 2nd Place and took home the People's Choice award!!
