It’s Official Tomorrow: The New Orleans Pelicans

According to Yahoo! Sports, the New Orleans Hornets will announce the name change tomorrow at 3pm.  They will become the New Orleans Pelicans (you know, as in "The Louisiana State Bird"... I guess that "The Pelicans" sounds better than "The Honeybees" or "The Magnolias"....)

So, let me get this straight:  they are announcing that they will be announcing the name change?  Why don't they just skip the announcing step and just announce it already?  Geez, those NBA people like drama, no?
