Insurer Sues Physicians Over “excessive” Bills

Aetna Insurance is suing doctors for "unconscionable"  charges, including charging $59,490 for an ultrasound that normally costs less than $80.

One of the nation's largest insurers has sued six North Jersey physicians over bills it considers "unlawful and excessive," including $56,980 for a 25-minute bedside consultation.
