The Insane Inflatable 5k bounced into Acadiana over the weekend, sending hundreds of people on an adventure featuring 11 obstacles.

Seeing the groups and families arriving in matching outfits was really cool! From the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the Halloween-themed group and the team running for JJ and Autism research, families and teams ran for several different causes.

Not only did Healing House benefit from the run, but having people come together for something larger than themselves is always a positive!

The sponsor tents provided information for participants, from Mark Barras' "Tote Away", apartment door-to-dumpster service to Orange Theory Fitness and Precision Rehabilitation's booths, lots of great and useful information was on hand.

The grounds at Evangeline Downs is beautiful, especially this early in the morning (and a chilly morning it was - the temp was around 57 at 7am!).
