A scary scene was caught on camera from New Orleans, Louisiana after a police chase ended in a major crash.

WWL-TV reports that the chase started in  St. Bernard Parish and ultimately ended on the edge of the French Quarter, where many people stood by as the pursuit ended.

According to the SBSO, a stolen firearm and illegal narcotics were found in the vehicle involved in the pursuit. In all, five people were reportedly arrested in this incident, including the two suspects who attempted to run away from the scene.

Spike strips were deployed near the parish line, but according to the news report, the suspects did not stop after striking them.

As you'll see in the video below, the suspect's vehicle struck multiple vehicles on Bienville Streets and two elderly people had to be removed from their vehicle after the suspect's vehicle struck it.

You can also see that a person in a wheelchair was on a nearby sidewalk as this chase came to an end. The person in the wheelchair did not appear to be injured.

Still, what a scary scene for all involved in this chase.
