A guy called Comcast last week and tried to cancel his cable service and the customer service rep would not do it.  This call will probably make you very angry.

Comcast customers say this is not that unusual, but we found it simply appalling.    (The recording lasts for more than eight minutes.  And it starts in the middle of the call.  At the end he finally does get the service disconnected, and apparently it was so simple that the rep could have done it at any moment during the whole call.  The customer who recorded it is Ryan Block, he's a product manager at AOL.  He said the call was so bizarre, he decided to record it on his second phone, that's why the Comcast rep is on speaker.)
