I have some friends who were recently married, and for their honeymoon they did a "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives Tour", based on the Food Network show of the same name.

They flew to New York, Philly and (I think) Boston to visit restaurants that were featured on that show (which I happen to like when I catch it on TV).

Guy Fieri, host of the show, opened a restaurant in Times Square called Guy's American Kitchen & Bar.  I haven't eaten there, and I usually take ALL critics' opinions with a grain of salt (and freshly-ground pepper), but this review by the New York Times' critic Pete Wells is SCATHING!
