Gulf Oil Rig Explosion Kills 4. 300 Evacuated

The five year anniversary of the Deepwater Horizon disaster is less than 3 weeks away. A Pemex Oil Rig has exploded in the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday. ABC News reports 4 people are dead, 45 injured, and 300 have been evacuated.The Abkatun Permanente platform is reportedly not producing from a well. Officials called it a processing platform, stating there was no spill. AP reports, a number of survivors jumped overboard to escape the inferno.
