Get Ready To Eat Lafayette!

Lafayette, Louisiana has garnered nationwide attention for its excellent cuisine. It's often said you can find better food at a gas station in Lafayette than in many sit down restaurants elsewhere in the US.

The Tenth Annual "Eat Lafayette" Campaign is fast approaching, and registration is now open. Eat Lafayette spotlights local restaurants their excellent fair. Participants offer special promotions during the campaign, enabling people to enjoy excellent food at a significant savings. Patrons are also given the opportunity to register for prizes. A cruise was awarded at the culmination of the 2013 campaign. More than 40 restaurants participated last year. I visited Blue Dog Cafe', Everything Else Is Cake, and Cafe' Vermilionville.
