Friday is ‘Tarzan Day’ in Louisiana

Governor Jindal has declared Friday 'Tarzan Day in Louisiana'.  The first movie about the legendary Edgar Rice Burroughs Character was made in Louisiana. 'Tarzan Of The Apes' was shot in the Morgan City area, beginning in 1917.

The Tarzan Character is 100 years old. Filmmaker Al Bohl and his daughter, Allison Bohl

have spent four years  producing the documentary, 'Tarzan Lord Of The Louisiana Jungle' to commemorate the anniversary.
