The Lafayette Fire Department responded to a fire at the Lowe's store on Ambassador Caffery Thursday.

According to the LFD Facebook page, they responded to the store when someone called in to notify them that several boxes were on fire on the exterior of the store.

There was no damage to the building, but as you can see here extinguishing the fire was no easy task.

Firefighters had to use foam on the cardboard boxes to extinguish it.

Here are a few photos that the LFD shared from the scene. Like many police and fire departments around the country, the LFD has someone assigned to document calls and share photos from the scene on social media.

The LFD has not yet announced what may have casued this fire behind the store in Lafayette.
