TreesAcadiana and Lafayette residents are ready to plant some trees! For this year’s planting, TreesAcadiana members and volunteers will be planting trees in the median along Louisiana Avenue, north of Interstate 10, between Butcher Switch and Maryview Farms Road. Planting is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014.
