Acadian Village Presents: '...On the Bayou,' a Quarterly Music Series
LARC’s Acadian Village is gearing up for its first ever quarterly music series, '…On the Bayou.' Don't miss the series opener 'Blues on the Bayou' on May 13th, 2017 starting a 6 PM. Proceeds will benefit both LARC and LARC’s Acadian Village. Advance tickets will be available for purchase through LARC’s Acadian Village for $10. Regular admission will be $12 the day of the event.
'…On the Bayou' will feature a new genre every quarter, with the opener 'Blues on the Bayou,' focusing on the rhythm and blues that speaks to the soul of Acadiana. The May 13th lineup features new and established talent alike. Opening for 'Blues on the Bayou' will be the Cody Boullion Trio, followed by The Good Dudes, with Michael Juan Nunez headlining the event featuring a special guest performance by Lil’ Buck Sinegal.
“We are excited to host the village’s first fundraiser of this kind,” says LARC’s Acadian Village Director, Thomas Gott, “our community has stated a want for venues that allow people to sit down and just enjoy the music, and we are ready to deliver!”
