Each year, the Lafayette Art Association hosts fundraising events to supplement our income.  As an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)3 organization, we are dependent upon our member fees, sales, donations and grants from both the city of Lafayette, and the state.
This year our main fundraising event, "...It’s a little different this year!”, culminates in a Reception on Sunday, October 15, 2017 5:30 to 7:30pm.
SILENT AUCTION:
• Over 30 Member Artist works of art: paintings, photography,jewelry, pottery, glass, ber art, baskets & more!

RECEPTION:
• Wine & Light hors d'oeuvres, open to the public
The FUN has just stARTed!
• Build your own set of (4) art cards (with envelopes as you create original art:  Spin Art, Bubble Art, Mixed Media and Marbling
• Limit 4 cards per adult.  Additional cards available for purchase.
• Member created art cards for sale:  $3 each or 2 for $5
The artwork, featuring paintings, photography, pottery, jewelry, glass, sculpture, mixed media, wood and fabric arts will be on display beginning Friday, September 22th in Studio Picasso at the Lafayette Art Association.  Bidding on silent-blind auction items and raffle tickets will be available at that time as well.  Bids for the artwork with start at a minimum percentage of the retail value.
The Lafayette Art Association is open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 12-5, and Saturday 10-2.  Raffle Tickets and art on display for Silent Bids NOW through 10/14 at the LAA.  Winning bids and raffle winners announced throughout the reception.  All proceeds go directly to the daily operting expenses of the LAA.
The LAA has been in existence 54 years and located at 1008 E. St. Mary Blvd for the past 8 years.  The  mission of the Lafayette Art Association is to encourage, strengthen, and advance the visual arts in Lafayette and its surrounding region.  Its primary objective is to increase community participation in the visual arts throughout the diverse population of the Acadiana region.  We facilitate over 50 exhibits annually, in our gallery on St. Mary Blvd, as well as in locations throughout the Lafayette area.
