This first time event will raise funds for the efforts of CODOFIL (The Council for the Development of French in Louisiana), the state agency charged with French language educational, cultural and economic development initiatives in Louisiana. CODOFIL is legislatively mandated to drive francophone tourism through culture, education and international relations. With recent statewide reduction of funding, the need to financially support the efforts of CODOFIL is more crucial than ever.

Lâche Pas is a volunteer driven celebration of Cajun & Creole music and food. Partners include Festival International de Louisiane, Festivals Acadiens et Créoles, Cochon Restaurant, Blackpot Festival, Louisiana Folk Roots, Blue Moon Saloon and FrancoJeunes
