Dine for the Diner Benefiting St. Joseph Diner

St. Joseph Diner, known for feeding the hungry in Acadiana since 1983, is hosting its annual Dine for the Diner fundraising event on Thursday, May 18, 2017. The community is encouraged to eat out to end hunger at participating area restaurants. Dine for the Diner is a unique opportunity for local restaurants to fill up their tables and for St. Joseph Diner supporters in the community to help feed the hungry.

On average St. Joseph Diner shares over 100,000 meals with the hungry each year. In addition to providing a free meal at lunch every day, the Diner creates a shared community space where volunteers and staff can engage with patrons - learning their names and their needs to assist them on their journey to self-sufficiency. These services would be impossible without the support of the community and the generosity of the restaurants participating in this event.
