Additional Information

It's a Benefit Fest for our 4A's Sisters LUPUS Foundation. Musicians from all walks of life will perform Blues, Jazz, R & B and a little Zydeco, too. We Four Sisters started this group back in August 2011 after our father John passed but, now mom Dorothy passed away in 1965 of Lupus leaving Dad with 6 kids to raise. A year later he married Leola having 1 daughter - now it's 7 kids to raise. They were married for over 42 years until she too passed away with this deadly disease call LUPUS so, we talked about starting a group and meeting at the King Center 3rd Thursday of each month for awareness in our community at 5 PM for one hour.

We invite specialists such as Nutrition's, RN's, play games, exercises, continue to check on each others, several social events together. etc.

They would come and tell their stories, bond with each others, had social events, we would host one huge event per year and proceeds would go back into the community to Lupus patients where they can use for either for medical or personal use. Past events: New Years Bash, Po Boy Sales, Red Beans, Rice and Sausage Sale, Brunch, etc,.

Remind you for more than 7 years Brenda one of the sisters started hosting an Adult Bus Trip to Memphis and or Tunica, MS with the help of Martin Luther King Jr. Association and best friends Elizabeth Richard and Yvonne Wilkins -which they attended the Jus Blues Music Award Show, tour several museums and party down Beale Street....but, back in her mind Brenda that is she always dreamed of doing her own Blues Show, so this year she stated she would give it a try. Brenda is also into music, since one of her brother Christopher J. Andrus bka Recording Artist Uncle Fallay was always around music.....showed her the path and lead the way...she also manager several musicians in the surrounding areas. So, she than starting making calls to friends she knew and asking them to help put on this 1st All American Music Fest.....many of them coming from near and far said they would be delighted to assist with this benefit for this greatly cause.
