Sunisa Lee won Gold in the women’s individual all-around gymnastic final. She is the first Hmong American to win the Gold and 5th consecutive member of Team USA to win this honor. She spent the night celebrating her amazing achievement with pizza and a dance party in her hotel room.

It was revealed after the 18 year won the Gold that this achievement has been something she has spent her whole life working towards. In an interview with Hota Kotb, Lee explained that her family did not have a lot of money when she was growing up so her father built her a beam in their backyard so she could practice.
