Elfrid Payton Day At Courtesy Breaux Bridge June 6

Courtesy Dodge in Breaux Bridge is hosting an autograph signing and basketball competition with guest appearances from Elfrid Payton, NBA Rookie of the Year Finalist and Starting Point Guard for Orlando Magic, along with UL Head Coach, Bob Marlin June 6, 2015

Payton is a former student and star basketball player for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and has since successfully became the newest breakout basketball star in the NBA.

The autograph signing will take place at Courtesy Dodge in Breaux Bridge located at 607 Enterprise in Breaux Bridge, LA on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 1:00pm with a basketball competition immediately following, beginning at 2:30pm.

Youth ranging from grades 1st through 8th can compete in a competition for a chance to win a free spot in Payton’s basketball camp in New Orleans, LA which will take place on June 14, 2015 at his high school, John Ehret High School.

Students will be split into two grade categories: 1st-4th grade and 5th-8th grade. Each contestant will have 30 seconds to make as many baskets as they can. One lucky winner from each group will be awarded free admission to Elfrid’s Basketball Camp. First, second, and third place winners from each group will also receive an autographed basketball by NBA star, Elfrid Payton.
