Disappearing Car Doors Can Prevent Dings

Can you imagine the convenience of "disappearing" car doors?  No more "dings" and getting "parked in"!

It's a car door that "disappears" under the body of the car, giving you full access to the interior of the car.  No worry about parking close enough to ding someone else's door; no worry about opening your door on a bicyclist or motorist; no worry about getting your dress or coat caught in the door!

It seems that the concept is a few years old, so I am guessing that to implement this idea into production models is prohibitively expensive, or we would have seen more of them by now...
