Demi Lovato Hints At Bisexuality On U.K. Talk-Show ‘Alan Carr’s Chatty Man’
Did Demi Lovato kiss a girl and like it? In a new interview, it certainly seems so!
The American pop star appeared on U.K. talk-show Alan Carr's Chatty Man last night (Friday September 11) in promotion of her 2015 summer anthem, "Cool For The Summer," and upcoming album, 'Confident.' While there, the singer dropped some major hints on her oft-discussed sexuality, particularly adding fuel to the fire that the summery dance-pop single was indeed based off a bisexual experience with a girl. (Or, according to Carr's hilarious wording, "about leth-bee-uns.")
Demi's sexuality has been up for debate ever since the track dropped earlier this summer. And it's no wonder why, with the song containing sexy lyrics like, "Tell me what you want, what you like / It's okay, I'm a little curious, too... Got my mind on your body and your body on my mind / Got a taste for the cherry, I just need to take a bite."
During Chatty Man, Demi admitted to Carr that while she's "not confirming," she's "definitely not denying" the song is about experimenting with both boys and girls.
When Carr pointedly asked the artist if she had "ever gone cool for the summer" personally, Demi cheekily responded, "All of my songs are based on personal experiences. I don't think there is anything wrong with experimentation at all!"
But the hints didn't stop there—no sir! When the openly gay Carr joked that he, too, experimented once and "got stuck," Demi coyly offered, "Hey, I didn't say it didn't stick either!"
Demi, quit playing with our hearts!
