2014 gave us some hits and misses but all in all not a bad year for music.  The KTDY staff was asked to put together a list of our favorite song from 2014.

My taste varies greatly, so my song list crosses several charts.  Missing from my list this year is mainstream country.  I like classic country, however, of recent years mainstream country is moving a bit too fast for me.  Many of the new country artists I've never heard of and more than likely won't be around by this time next year.  Sam Smith appears twice on my list, and in all honesty could have held three spots but I decided to only allow him to occupy two.
