CJ Alone in the Studio With a Song for the World

2020 has been a very trying year and that's putting it mildly. There's a song by The Commodores that I believe is one song that sets the mood for a better future.

I had originally planned on posting this video straight to Facebook, but the Facebook Gods won't let me because I play a short segment of the song, "Jesus is Love" by the legendary soul group The Commodores. The YouTube Gods may pull it as well.

There are many songs, old and new, that reflect what's going on in the world today, especially in the United States. "Jesus is Love" is only one of those special songs. It's one of my favorite songs of all time and I think it's one that we could all use right now. I've used it for bad days long before the Coronavirus.

I was sitting alone in the control room of 99.9 KTDY a few weeks ago and decided I was going to share this beautiful song with all who would listen.

I spoke to Lionel Richie about "Jesus is Love". That's what we're talking about in this picture. He said it was one of his favorite songs he'd recorded with The Commodores.
