August 31, 2012 When Hurricane/Tropical Storm Isaac was blowing through here (thank goodness things were minimal for most of Acadiana), it reminded me of how pets sometimes can't handle the stress/excitement of bad weather.
Lost and Found Pets Acadiana is a Facebook page dedicated to reuniting lost and found pets with their owners.
Back in July, the University of Louisiana announced new parking regulations at Cajun Field, eliminating general admission parking on the west side of the stadium and reserving those spots for Ragin’ Cajuns Athletic Foundation donors who give at least $250
Now that Hurricane Isaac has moved through the area, schools throughout Acadiana are assessing damage and determining when to resume classes.
Despite recently weakening to a tropical storm, the catastrophic effects of Hurricane Isaac continue through Wednesday afternoon. The storm has dumped more than ten inches of rain across the area and left at least 725,000 homes without power.
