Let's play again, shall we?

After meeting six times this season, with the last game going 14 innings, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and UL Monroe Warhawks will square off again this Wednesday in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament beginning at 12:30.

The Cajuns (49-7, 26-4 Sun Belt) tied a school record for wins Saturday and can get to the 50-win plateau for the first time ever with a victory.  ULM (22-34, 11-19) qualified for the tournament while yesterday's game was in progress when Arkansas State defeated Arkansas-Little Rock.

Normally, the #1 seed would play in the featured game, but, with its win over Troy last night, host South Alabama qualified for the tournament and has opted to play at 7:30.  Because they are in the opposite side of the bracket, the bracket was flipped, moving the Cajuns and Warhawks to the early afternoon start.  A Cajuns' win would move them to the 4pm game on Thursday, where they would face the winner of game one between #5 Western Kentucky and #4 Texas State.  A loss by the Cajuns would put them in an elimination game at 9am.
