‘Bandboree’ Saturday At St. Thomas More

Some of the finest high school marching bands in the United States can be found right here in Acadiana. Several area bands have competed in nationwide competitions with great success. Local bands have been invited to perform at major events like Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and NFL games. You can watch nine Acadiana marching bands perform at "Banboree" this Saturday evening. The event will be at St. Thomas More High School. Bands from Crowley High, Rayne High, Delcambre High, New Iberia Senior High, St. Thomas More, North Vermilion, Acadiana High, and Lafayette High will be featured. The program starts at 6. Admission is just $5.00. Kids 6 and under will be admitted free. Proceeds to benefit the Mighty Lion Band Booster Foundation. Concessions will be available.
