‘American Idol’ Season 12 — Paul Jolley Voted Off
Paul Jolley was the latest contestant to be sent packing on season 12 of ‘American Idol.’
The singer has that vibrant, pop-country energy — think the male Taylor Swift — and he can hit some decent notes when he sings, but he got the heave-ho Thursday night.
Jolley attempted to steal the judges’ only save of the season with his rendition of Heart’s ’80s ballad ‘Alone’ — we know, it’s not a pop-country song. But it wasn’t enough to get him a stay of execution. So it was the end of the road for Jolley.
Season 12 is now down to the top eight.
