Adele scored her very first Golden Globe for Best Original Song at Sunday's ceremony, and no one was more surprised than the singer herself.

The first-time winner (and nominee) accepted her award for 'Skyfall' from the James Bond movie of the same name, and was equal parts excited and shocked as she took the stage.

"Oh my God, Oh my God, oh my God. Honestly I've come out for a night out with my friend Nyda. We're new mums, we've literally come for a night out. I was not expecting this, thank you so much!" said the flummoxed star. "It's very strange to be here, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your world for the night. It's amazing, we've been pissing ourselves laughing."

"I'd like to thank the Hollywood Foreign Press. I never thought I'd say that! Sony Pictures, MGM, Sam Mendes, Paul Epworth, Daniel Craig, you've been such a wonderful Bond," she continued. "And this is for my boyfriend Simon who convinced me to do it, and my lovely son, Thank you so much!"

It was the first public appearance the phenomenal performer has made since she had her baby in October of last year -- and while she didn't sing as we'd hoped she would, it was still great to see her signature sass and sense of humor were solidly intact.
