Kidney stones affect both men and women, and they are no fun. There are various treatments using sound and other methods to break them up so they're easier to pass, but now there's a method that might make the whole experience easier.

The LA Times reports on a study that found riding a coaster the size of Disney's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad can cause the painless passage of a small kidney stone. Researchers say it's best to sit in the back to get the full effect, and that patients reported this happening to them, leading to further study.
