He's had four bouts, that have entailed multiple surgeries, amputations, and excruciating chemotherapy. Markell has been a guest of the Fox NFL studio team. When Terry Bradshaw told him the Colts would beat the Saints in Super Bowl XLIV, Markell set him straight. He is one of 750 kids from Louisiana being treated there. The average cost of treatment for one cancer patient is $500,000.
