Sally Ride, Space Shuttle Astronaut, Dead At 61
According to ABC News, Sally Ride, America's first woman in space, has died at the age of 61 from pancreatic cancer.
A true pioneer; not only for women in space, but for women in general. Sally Ride was and continues to be the inspiration for many young women who grew up in the "Space Shuttle Age".
