The 7th Annual 'jeep jaunt', to raise money for the American Lung Association, rolled through Acadiana today.

The registration took place at Celebrity Theatres on Hwy 90 in Broussard, followed by the actual 'jaunt' to Cypress Bayou Casino and Hotel.

Jeeps and 4x4s gathered for the Annual 'jeep jaunt'.

Groups like Cajun Jeepers, Louisiana Jeepers, Bon Temps Jeep Club, Outcasts Jeep Club, Trail Lizards Jeep Club (from the Shreveport/Bossier area), LA 4x4, and even the Bayou State Land Cruisers showed up in full force.  364 Jeeps and 4x4s, loaded with more than 1000 people, meandered down Hwy 182, through New Iberia, along Bayou Teche on Hwy 87, all the way to the casino for a meal, door prizes and an auction.

So many people helped to make this event possible, including our Partners and other sponsors; our hosts at Celebrity Theatres and Cypress Bayou Casino; numerous 4x4 clubs; family and friends from all over Acadiana, Louisiana and neighboring states.

From my family to yours, a sincere "thank you", and "see you next year!!".
