Plenty of Louisiana schoolchildren will be off of school from late March through April 5, and if you are looking for fun stuff to do during Spring break we have a handful of ideas that include discounts.

It can be expensive to have fun whether you have one child or seven. You know at some point during this break the kids will start whining about having nothing to do.

Top Golf

Top Golf in Lafayette has a half-price golf experience on Tuesdays. According to their website, you can be a walk-in, get a website booking, or use their app to book a slot. It's also a good idea to call ahead as exclusions do apply.

Top Golf has an app promotion. Right now, and for a limited time, when you get the Top Golf app you can get a booking for half-price Monday through Wednesday. Restrictions and exclusions apply, so again, it is best to call ahead to find out what can work for your group.

Super Tuesdays at the Grand

There is a $4.99 special that is available at the Grand 14 on Kaliste Saloom which they call the Grand Ambassador and the Grand 16 on Johnston Street as per their website.

You can click here for tickets to the available shows at the Grand 14 on Tuesdays for $4.99. In addition to tickets being on sale, the snacks are also on sale on Super Tuesdays.

Please note, that their website says sales taxes apply and there is an upcharge for 3D and GPX shows.

Surge Entertainment

At Surge Entertainment in Lafayette, there are a variety of specials available. According to their website, on Mondays, they offer a $20 per hour special to play on their simulators.

Tuesday at Surge they offer unlimited bowling or unlimited jumping for $9.99 per person. Wednesday night, for each adult entree that is purchased you get a child's meal free. This is for children 12 and under.

Wednesday night, Surge has a Jump for Jesus program, where each person pays $7.99 per hour to jump. Jumping is available from 6 p.m. until closing time. The night features Christian music and/or easy listening.

Thursday night is family night at Surge. The Thursday night special is $16 per person and entitles each person to either one hour of bowling or simulator use, a 1-topping personal pizza, a soft drink, and a $5 game card.

Fun Nation Roller Skating Rink

On Tuesdays and Thursday nights at Fun Nation you can skate from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for only $7. If you want to add on the soft play area for the smaller kids that's $3 more.

From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, you can skate for only $10 per person.

Zoosiana has a great event throughout the month of March called EggstravanganZoo. The entire zoo is outfitted with beautiful decorations for Easter.

There is a scavenger hunt for everyone in the family, and when children 12 and under complete the scavenger hunt they receive an Easter candy treat bag.

The Zoo also offers a variety of different photo stations for that perfect Easter picture with the kids and the family.
