Bakeries in Acadiana are coming together once again for their annual "King Cake Bread Pudding" Bake Off.

It was announced this week on social media that the Bake Off will take place on January 28, 2024, in Scott, La. at the Westline Event Center at 325 Appollo Rd.

Last year the inaugural event was a huge success and now bakers from across the area are coming back together for a great cause.

The event is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and end at 4 p.m. There is a $5 admission fee to this event with proceeds going to charity.

In addition to a lot of King Cake Bread Pudding, for you to sample, there will be food trucks on site and other craft vendors.

This is a family event and you are encouraged to arrive early for this great event. Last year there was a line the entire time to get into the event and there was plenty of King Cake Bread Pudding for you to sample.

Celebrity judges will be on-site to sample the bread pudding and the winner will be announced the day of in Scott.
