Woman Rumored To Be Found Dead Is Alive, Calls Into Radio Show

A case of mistaken identity has sparked a rumor that a St. Landry Parish woman died, but she's very much alive and trying to make it clear. Monique Dixon says her family started receiving calls after St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Deputies found a body that remains unidentified. She says people called crying, screaming and praying. Comments have also been made on her children's social media pages. Dixon is originally from New Orleans and family members there are concerned.

Rob Kirkpatrick and Bernadette Lee spoke to her by phone this morning and she says she just wants all this to end.
