Vermilion Honor Guard Fundraiser

The Vermilion Honor Guard is holding a fundraiser to help them cover the expenses of attending veterans' funerals.

Military honor guards provide the military portion of military funerals (guarding the fallen comrade, ceremonial folding of the American Flag draped on the casket and presenting it to the family, conveying condolences on behalf of the President of the United States and the fallen comrade's branch, 21-gun salute, etc).

Prizes include cash, a duck call, a barbecue grill, an electronic photo frame, a bottle of whiskey, and a fishing rod and reel.

The Vermilion Guard relies on donations and fundraisers to continue to provide proper military funerals for fallen veterans.
