UL Softball Ranked In FloSoftball Preseason Top 25

The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are receiving some preseason love, prior to the start of the 2019 college softball season.

The Cajuns return six players who started at least 32 games, as well as their top two pitchers, in terms of innings pitched, from a team that finished 41-16 a season ago.

UL opens their 2019 regular season schedule on Thursday, February 7, when they host Fordham in the opening day of play in the Ragin' Cajuns Classic at Lamson Park.

Florida St, the defending national champions, are #1 in the preseason poll, followed by Oklahoma, Washington, UCLA, and Florida at 2-5, respectively.

Arizona, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Michigan round out the top ten.

LSU is ranked 19th in the preseason poll.
