Two Dead Following Overnight Shooting

The two men wounded following last's night shooting in a Carencro apartment complex are dead according to police.

Adam R. Williamson, 20, of Krotz Springs, and Dustin A. Wiltz, 20, of Scott, are both dead, police say.

Arrested is Jeremy Edwards, 20, of Church Point.

He’s been booked with two counts of First-Degree Murder, one count of Armed Robbery, one count theft of a motor vehicle, one count Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon, one count Aggravated Flight from an officer and one count of Driving Under Suspension.

No bond has been set for Edwards’ release.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges may be added.
