UPDATE – Train Derailed In St. Landry Parish
According to LA State Police 13 cars of freight train derailed just after midnight Sunday morning near Lebeau in St. Landry Parish.
The derailment has forced the closure of LA Highway 71 at LA 361 Southbound and Northbound.
DOTD says this highway closure will be in effect until at least Midnight Sunday.
