Traffic Photos You May Never See Again in Louisiana – #sneauxday

Traffic is at a dead stop in much of south Louisiana today (January 24, 2014) due to the icy conditions. Thankfully, school and government officials made the right call to close and to add extra troopers and safety personnel. There are so many accidents all over - Acadia parish reported over twenty-five crashes this morning and there were two fatalities in the Lake Charles area. The Mississippi River bridge in Baton Rouge is close at this moment, the Causeway was closed for a while, I-49, I-10 and Highway 90 have all been closed due to overpasses icing over, even as far South as St. Mary Parish!
