Tips Are Needed About A Residential Burglary

This week, officials with the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers program is hoping to generate tips about a residential burglary that happened in the 5000 block of Roberts Cove Road.

Someone kicked the door in on the home, and now detectives are hoping that someone saw something.

Officials say that sometime between 10:30 in the morning and 1:30 in the afternoon on October 15, someone broke through the door of the home to make off with these people's property.

Detectives say that a Steven Model 62 semi-automatic .22 caliber rifle was taken from the home. The rifle is black in color.

Whoever broke in also made off with two hefty safes. Both of the safe weighed about 150 pounds each.
