TikTok Video Goes Viral as Woman Tries to Track Down the Wife of “Stephen in Louisiana”

TikTok user @maddiemperry decided to send a message into the universe in hopes of finding a woman who is married to a guy named Stephen.

While that is a pretty broad search, she did narrow the search down to a guy named Stephen in Louisiana. While that may still sound like a broad search, the reason behind her search is what's causing it to go viral.

Maddie says she met a guy named "Steve" who is on a bachelor's trip in Nashville with multiple men who are getting married and even more friends who are in tow to help them celebrate.

Again—vague, but she even went as far as pointing out the fact that the bachelor party celebration is for three guys getting married and they are staying between two different Airbnbs.

The TikTok user even posted a photo of this alleged "Steve" (or Stephen; according to her friend) to make it easier to find his wife.

Maddie's video is going viral due to the people on social media who are now joining in on her quest to locate Stephen's wife after her very animated recollection of her nearly-two hour experience with him.

She claims that Stephen hit on her for over two hours trying to convince her to come home with him and even said he had his own bed at the Airbnb. After realizing that Maddie didn't seem interested in going home with him, Steve upped his game by hitting her with the jab that she was "too much of a good girl."

Stephen continued with his reverse psychology strategy, playfully criticizing Maddie for being "playing too hard to get" and then bought her a bunch of roses.

At one point he allegedly sweetened the deal by telling the girls they had "lots of White Claws" back at the Airbnb, but her girls had a hunch that Stephen was actually married.

Maddie couldn't believe it. There's no way this guy could be trying so hard to get her back to his Airbnb if he was already in a serious relationship let alone married, right?

When she asked him to show her a picture of his wife, he flashed the photo of another girl on his lock screen. Shocked by what she was witnessing, Maddie asked to see her contact and as it was turn out the woman on his lock screen was stored in his phone as "Wifey."

At that point, Maddie said she called Stephen "a piece of sh*t" to his face—something she claims she's never done before.

According to Maddie, her reason for being so mad about this was because Stephen "wasted two hours of her life" and apparently never admitted he was with another woman.

So Maddie made a TikTok video to track down the woman who she says "deserves better."

Of course, this was met with a ton of reactions as the video continues to go viral on multiple social media platforms.

Her post quickly reached just about every corner of the globe, including Louisiana.

Of course, there were a lot of questions and Maddie did her best to answer them all.

Also, in her "Steve Update" video, Maddie did reveal that she was able to locate the man who hit on her for hours as well as his wife (who is allegedly pregnant).

Although Maddie did find the woman, she says she's unsure if she should message her to let her know about her encounter with Stephen in Nashville. She also reveals that she received a message from someone who knows Stephen and his friends, so she is pretty certain that he's aware of the viral video.

The majority of commenters (mostly female) said that the woman deserves to know.

One woman shared that she was in this exact situation and didn't find out she was being cheated on by her husband until after she gave birth to their child. Other women with children echoed the sentiment that the woman deserved to know.

More and more women began to rally together encouraging Maddie to reach out to the woman, sharing how they would feel if they were in the woman's shoes.

One TikTok user by the name of Mama Wolf suggested the wife make a TikTok dumping him, and attach her baby registry for everyone to help her with the baby.

As much as her husband has embarrassed her up to this point, I'm sure any consolation will be welcome since the public is clearly invested in a situation that he created.

This situation is a prime example of how social media continues to change everything we know about life. Thanks to apps like TikTok, the average person could easily be someone with a following or a potential reach of millions.

Now, a married man hitting on a "hot girl" who was playing hard to get while out of town on a bachelor's trip has quickly turned into an issue that he probably wishes never happened that could easily ruin his family.
