Texas Man Dies While Texting [VIDEO]

A Texas man died this weekend after becoming distracted by his cell phone and running off of the interstate, slamming into a parked 18-wheeler.

Texas authorities say that the truck did have the required "road triangles" in place as per state law.  A 42 year old driver of a Honda Accord, who witnesses say was texting, left the roadway, struck the road triangles and then the semi truck.  The driver of the 18-wheeler was sleeping in the cab of his truck, and received minor injuries.

Interstate 45 was closed for hours while authorities investigated.
