Millions of Taylor Swift fans who couldn’t get tickets to the Eras Tour have the next best thing. Today, Taylor Swift announced a movie version of the tour will be coming to theaters in October. The official launch date appears to be October 13 with Fandango and other movie sites already offering tickets in some markets.

The Eras Tour has been a record-breaking series of concerts bringing in billions and it’s just getting started. Swift has announced new tour dates going Through 2024 and the interest in fans buying tickets does not appear to be slowing. One of the shows added next year is in New Orleans at the Superdome.

The movie features songs from the tour setlist, which covers 10 specific eras in her songwriting and singing career. The excitement was palpable as soon as the news broke with social media posts getting hundreds of thousands of likes in a short span of time.

Rotten Tomatoes posted the first official trailer which appears to show footage from the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
