The severe weather has been barreling through much of south Louisiana since early this morning, and as a result, one school district has already decided to keep students home today.

The district's offices will also be closed.

As the threat of severe weather heads towards Acadiana, many Parishes are closing school early in an effort of public safety.

UPDATE - As the inclement winter weather continues to cause issues across Acadiana and Louisiana, school closure information has begun coming in for 02/18 and 02/19.

The St. Mary Parish School Board has announced schools and offices will be closed Wednesday, October 28 due to Hurricane Zeta.
